Nothing. The place is very run down. There is rusting in the bathrooms and it felt like we were camping! All of the other guests staying at the same time were also complaining. The staff were very rude and unapproachable!

The staff were all excellent - outstanding. The views are exceptional for a hotel.
The cost of an evening meal was excessive. The room was ideal in many ways but had a few minor maintenance issues, namely a very wobbly table, a wobbly vanity stool; the bathroom basin had an unsightly crack in the seal to the wall; the safe was missing its key and reception twice failed to attend to this, so we gave up asking. The cost of laundry was surprisingly high - 15 Euros for just 2 items; our clothes hanging in the wardrobe were damp - only items in our suitcases remained dry; on our last morning we had to close the door because of the smell of sewerage up-drafting from the cliff below us.

From the moment we arrived, we knew we were staying in a top class hotel. (There was a wedding at the hotel on the night and we were graciously offered meal and drinks from the bridal couple and hotel management). The pool areas had everything to relax and unwind including pool side service of meals and drinks. Quality Day spa services also available for extra cost. Our accommodation was very comfortable and well furnished; serviced daily. Scenic location atop cliffside overlooking caldera; amazing sunsets every night, without having to leave our hotel. Staff extremely accommodating and friendly. Magical surroundings; highly recommended. B. & G.
